Arriving in Vietnam fulfilled one of my longest-held travel ambitions,
and as we travelled north, the trip often took on the feel of a pilgrimage.
Far more than that though, Vietnam is one of the ultimate travel destinations,
a rollercoaster of man-made and natural wonders. A brisk, efficient,
tenacious culture stands alongside a profusion of minorities.

25 years on, their country rebuilt, one is still reminded that this
is the country that Uncle Ho built. I am very proud to have finished my pilgrimage at his mausoleum, and to have paid tribute to his peoples' country.
